Spring Forward


Did you all remember to change your clocks?
Not the best time of the year... it's awful losing that hour!!!



Still, it's nice to have an extra hour of daylight at the end of the day :)

Hi Desert Quilt Guild is hosting a Quilt Show in Ridgecrest, CA
Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15, 2015.
They are raffling off a gorgeous quilt!


The show is this weekend at

Sew all day and most of the night, wear your jammies if you like!
You will get a special room rate (and free breakfast!) if you want to stay overnight- just let the hotel know that you’re staying over for the Retreat when you call to make your reservations at (760) 949-4700.

Bring your machine, sewing supplies and UFO's or other projects.
Cost is $10 per day, includes dinner on Saturday.

Each Thursday evening Linda Rizzardi will be hosting a weekly “Sew Together” geared toward beginner sewists.

Are you stuck on a project and don’t know what to do?
Maybe you're even unsure of how to get started... 

Bring your projects and questions to class and let Linda help you!
Learn a technique or two find out what all those presser feet do.

Come by and sit, sew, and enjoy the company!

Linda Rizzardi will be instructing a fun class teaching a "William Sonoma" inspired apron.

This apron can be made of duck or canvas and be unlined, or choose two cute contrasting fabrics to make it lined and/or reversible! 

Linda will supply patterns and hardware-  choose from Adult or Children sizes.

You will need the following: 

1 yard Cotton Canvas (no lining needed)

OR

1 yard Cotton Print for Main Side*
1 yard Contrasting Cotton for Lining*
